Product Information and Specifications

All Essential Tech products are manufactured to meet or exceed EN388 safety standards. Product specifications, including weight, materials, protection levels, and sizing information, are provided on individual product pages. While we strive for accuracy in all product descriptions, minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes.

Our protective clothing is designed for personal safety applications including daily travel, security work, factory environments, and professional protection services. Products are tested to EN388 Level 4 standards for cut resistance, puncture resistance, and tear resistance where applicable.

Ordering and Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or concerns about fraudulent activity.

Order confirmation emails serve as acknowledgment of receipt but do not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the products to you, at which point a binding contract is formed.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, though changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe payment processing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Full payment is required before order dispatch.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship to addresses within the United Kingdom and internationally where permitted by law. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including customs processing for international orders. Essential Tech is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Product Use and Safety

Essential Tech protective clothing is designed to reduce risk of injury from cuts, stabs, punctures, and ballistic threats according to EN388 certification levels. However, no protective equipment can guarantee complete protection in all circumstances.

Products must be used in accordance with their intended purpose and design specifications. Protective clothing should be regularly inspected for damage, wear, or deterioration. Damaged products should be replaced immediately and not used for protection.

Essential Tech products are not intended to replace proper safety protocols, training, or situational awareness. Users assume all responsibility for proper product selection, fitting, maintenance, and use in their specific applications.

All content on the Essential Tech website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, and software, is the property of Essential Tech or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from product purchase or use shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Warranty

Essential Tech warrants that products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper care, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications.

If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with our Refund Policy. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
